Paola Guarín, from Barranquilla, Colombia, is the Education Manager at Sempertex and an international instructor with 19 years of experience in the balloon industry. Throughout her career, she has specialized in developing innovative décor styles that combine organic structures with distortion techniques, working with round balloons, Link-O-Loons, and 260’s to create distinctive and artistic compositions.
In her role at Sempertex, Paola leads educational initiatives and manages the brand’s international events and congresses, giving her the opportunity to collaborate, create, and share knowledge with balloon artists from all over the world. She designs and delivers professional training programs, helping to elevate technical standards and inspire creativity within the global balloon community.

Valentina Rodriguez is a passionate
Balloon Instructor and the Global Coordinator of the Master Balloon Professional (MBP) program
. Based in Colombia but operating on a globalscale, Valentina is dedicated to transforming the industry one balloon at a time.
As a member of Sempertex, Valentina has participated in various conventions and seminar sacross numerous countries, including the United States, Mexico, Colombia, and Trinidad and Tobago. Beyond her educational role, she has been instrumental in developing and launching
MBP evaluations
in premier international markets such as
China, Japan, Italy, Mexico, and Australia
, among others.
Valentina’s mission is centered on highlighting and upholding the elite decoration standards ofthe
Master Balloon Professional program.
Her philosophy focuses on building a world wide community of top-tier artists where technical precision, aesthetic judgment, and innovation arethe core values.

Since 2006, he has been involved in the balloon industry, specializing in large-scale, story-driven displays as well as intricately woven, highly detailed balloon sculptures.

Based in Cheongju, South Korea and Japan, she is the representative of the JFBA Japan Flower Balloon Association, actively engaged in teaching and promoting giant flowers and flower balloons.
She introduced flower balloons, originating in South Korea, to the Japanese market and established an educational system and the association itself. She is involved in a wide range of activities, including coordinating business between Japanese and Korean companies, supporting instructor training, and collaborating with material manufacturers.
She proposes comprehensive spatial designs that combine giant flowers and objects, exploring new styling possibilities through multi-material fusion. She is committed to creating an environment that is accessible even to those without advanced technical skills, aiming to further promote balloon culture.
